Everything this site collects, and everywhere it goes.

We are a service company, not an advertising one. Nothing you send here is sold, rented, or traded, and nothing follows you to another website. Here is the whole of it, in plain words, including how to have any of it removed.

When you send us a service request

The form on our contact page asks for your name and your email, and it gives you room for your practice or organization, your phone number, the kind of help you need, and anything else you want us to know. Only the name and the email are required. Everything else is there because it usually gets you a faster and more accurate answer.

What we collect
Your name, your email, and whichever of these you choose to give us: practice or organization, phone number, the service you selected, and your message.
Why we hold it
To answer you, to quote the work, and to schedule it. Nothing else.
Where it goes
Into our own database, into our service system as a request so a real person picks it up, and into one email to our team.
Who can see it
The people here who answer service requests. We do not sell it, rent it, trade it, or hand it to an advertiser.

Before the form goes through, a Cloudflare Turnstile check confirms a person and not a script filled it in. That check sends your network address to Cloudflare. We do not keep it.

When you apply for financing

The application on our financing page is not ours. It belongs to Slim Capital, our lending partner, and it runs inside their own form, which loads from their form provider, FormTitan. What you type into it goes to them. We never see your application, your financial details, or their decision, and none of it is stored on this site. Their privacy terms cover that application.

If you would rather not use an embedded form, call us and we will introduce you directly.

When you sign in to a portal

Customers and service partners we work with get an account on this site. Signing in means we hold an email address, a password stored only as an unreadable one-way hash, and the record of the work itself: requests, work orders, estimates, invoices, service reports, notes, and photographs taken on the job. Files live in our own storage. One session cookie keeps you signed in and does nothing else.

A customer's record belongs to that customer. We do not show it to another customer, and we do not use it to market to anyone.

What we count, and what we do not

Three counters run on the public pages. None of them knows who you are and none of them follows you to another website.

  • Ours. The page you opened, where the link came from, and the time. No name, no address, no cookie.
  • Cloudflare's. Traffic and speed measurement with no cookie and no browser fingerprint.
  • Our studio's. gray28 built this site and counts visits with a random id kept in your own browser's storage that resets after thirty minutes of quiet, plus the page, the referring link, any campaign tag on that link, and your screen size. It sends nothing at all if your browser asks not to be tracked.

There is no advertising tracker on this site. No Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, no session recorder, no profile of you sold to anybody. The typefaces are served by Google Fonts and Fontshare, so your browser does ask their servers for the font files.

Cookies

The public pages set none. Sign in to a portal and we set one session cookie so you stay signed in. The Turnstile check may set a short-lived value of its own when it has to challenge a browser. That is the whole list, which is why this site does not throw a consent banner at you.

Who else handles it

  • Cloudflare. Hosts the site, stores the data, runs the security check, and measures traffic.
  • Resend. Delivers the one email that tells us you wrote.
  • Slim Capital and FormTitan, who host their form. The financing application, and only that.
  • gray28. Builds and maintains the site, and can reach the system to keep it running.

Each one gets only what it needs for that job, and none of them gets to use it for anything else.

How long we keep it

We keep a service request while we are working with you, and we keep the service history of a piece of equipment for as long as it is useful to the facility that owns it, because that record is often the reason a later repair goes quickly. Ask us to delete something and we delete it.

Asking to see it, correct it, or delete it

Email info@mergteam.com or call (207) 951-6462 and tell us what you want done. We will confirm it is really you, then do it. That is true wherever you live. We do not run one policy for one state and a quieter one everywhere else.

If this site is hard to use

If any part of it fights a screen reader, a keyboard, or magnification, we want to hear about it. Call (207) 951-6462 or email info@mergteam.com, tell us which page, and we will get you the same information another way immediately and fix the page itself.

Security, and what is closed

The site is served over an encrypted connection only. Portals and staff pages sit behind a password, are closed to search engines, and refuse anyone without an account. Nothing about a customer's equipment, work, or billing is reachable from the public site.

Children

Nothing here is aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under thirteen.

When this page changes

We change it when what we do changes, and the date under the title moves with it. If a change matters to someone who already wrote to us, we tell them rather than letting them find it here.

Questions about any of this go to a person, not a form.
